Foodies Unite #6 (trigger warning food) ANOTHER ONE BITES THE CRUST!

Do it!! It’s super simple and cheap to make. I make my own sauerkraut. Fermented foods are so good for the stomach.

I found glutenfree rice pasta :yum:
Its delicious! Not dry at all, for all the German folks here: go to DM, they have it.
Mixed it with some frozen veggies and shrimp.
And of course garlic. Lots of garlic

Unfortunately this pasta crumbles into tiny bits like every glutenfree pasta I’ve ever had :sob:

If you like gnocchi I highly recommend the glutenfree ones by “Rewe frei von”…
I always have some on stock
I am glad that i am only allergic to wheat and not gluten overall. So I can still eat spelt or rye.
For rice noodles i like the asian style ones from asian grocery markets, “oh ricey” in the green square package are best. :yum:

Smoked Norwegian trout, cream cheese, capers and pea shoots on toasted sprouted grain “Little Big Bread”

First time I’ve ever bought capers (I’ve only had them in a few dishes while out).

The hubs has been quite the chef this week and it makes me feel so grateful. He makes me my own salsa because i cannot handle his level of heat

Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass.

Too pretty not to take a pic.
Fucking arugula :grimacing: :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: @Runningfree
But it was actually pretty good. It was stated on the menu. So I can accept that.
And a cauliflower mash with some kind of cheese in it.

Months ago I tried the gnocchi you mentioned and
Nope :joy:
Here are some asian markets, going to check their noodles :+1:
There must be glutenfree pasta somewhere that doesn’t crumble after cooking

@Salty your sandwich looks great! Yum on the smoked trout! Hope you liked the capers. I do not eat them that much anymore but have kept a jar of capers, some smoked salmon, cream cheese and that long lasting rye bread around for a quick meal for guests who pop in or whoever whenever for many, many years… Pop ins even know I will have it. I can have it on the table in a few minutes without any fuss… indoors, outdoors, it is easy.
They used to always know that I would have cheesecake in the freezer… now it is a Tuscan apple cake with ricotta…

@Gomezer wow that looks delicious! Looks like a beautiful wreath! Welcome to the community and to your sobriety!
