Last of the Thanksgiving cheesecake. I made a quick strawberry sauce per my husband’s request and I’ve never made one. Winged it. Turned out great! I guess just stewed mashed berries. Mmm

Omg
I’m chuckling over here. Had a long silly conversation about the health benefits of Brussel sprouts with my wife yesterday. Wondering if or how to work at least one serving of them into our, My meal. She’s not having any  and then I was wondering if I’ve ever seen canned Brussel sprouts :face_vomiting:. Not that I’d buy them. Thank God I don’t they can them. Just silly husband and wife talk on our dog walk yesterday. And then I see this first thing on the foodies thread. Have a great rest of your weekend Twizzle :pray:t2::heart:

I love how most of the time I can tell who is eating what before I scroll up to your avatar. I’m sure I’m not alone in this. Or am I

I usually share my good looking meals with yall but decided I would share my failure today.

Luckily it tasted better than it looks but uggg I was out of it this morning :woman_facepalming:t2:

Started out wanting to make two small pancakes to make an egg sandwich sort of mock mcgriddle. Then forgot that was the plan and poured all the batter in the pan at once. It was too thin so I intended to spread it out to be a crepe but got distracted by coffee and it got neglected, stuck to the pan, ripped, and was too thick to be a proper crepe. Stuffed it with lots of strawberries and enjoyed it anyways.

I really love cooking stuff like this for myself. I love cooking for my wife too but she’d never eat something like this. It doesn’t have any burger, Pasta or cheese in it

Pizza dough experiment time! I’ve have cold proofed dough in my fridge in the past with mediocre results, usually because I’m impatient and don’t wait long enough. I did a little reading online and am going to attempt to put the dough in my 62 deg basement overnight for proofing - get those yeasty beasties chowing down and giving me yummy flavors in my crust. We shall see what happens! I hope I don’t poison us

Isn’t it romantic? I love these battery powered flickering “candles!” There are real candles at the end of the table.
