Trying some pears with my walnuts raspberries strawberries and yogurt.

Trying to get the hang of letting the fruits ripen. Pears were hard as a rock. And of course they’re almost over ripe. But I got this one in time

Tonight’s tea and tomorrow’s lunch for leftovers… Massive ass chicken stir fry w/ mange tout, onions, peppers and cashews. Soy chilli and ginger sauce. Thai basil and coriander in unholy amounts.

I can’t wait to enjoy ALL of the previously-pictured food I made; unfortunately, I currently live in a clean & sober building with a shared kitchen (which is frequently filthy) so about all I feel safe cooking are the steak/asparagus & the bacon/eggs.

However, One. Day. I WILL have my own place, again, and THEN I’ll be able to “git down & boogie,” cooking-style!

Keep on the sobriety path and you will be able to enjoy your own space to create your magic.

Made my first chicken pot pie.

Next time I’ll start it 2 hours earlier. I put it in the oven at 6 then read it needed to cook for an hour and cool for 30 minutes. :scream:

It was great though. Or else I was very hungry by 7:30 :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Thanks. I think it came out pretty well. I never work with pie crust. The crust wasn’t from scratch. But still, had to do some rookie rolling. And the mess I made :joy:
