Foodies Unite #7(trigger warning food) GNOC, GNOC, GNOCCHI ON HEAVEN'S DOOR!

That’s the best story ever! I’m sure it was just millet, which is fine to eat too.

I felt so silly but I learnt something I guess :joy:

I got myself a glass marker pen so that I could label my decanted grains and seeds etc to make sure they don’t get mixed up. It sounds like your mum could do with one of those. It’s easy to lose track of what’s what, especially jam and tea and such.

Lightly breaded Nova Scotia scallops cooked in air fryer. Was too lazy after work to bust out the cast iron but I wish I did. So tasty that way. These were good though too

Benson approved.
Benson was originally a Reggie
But his foster moms husband gave him a dumb name. Benicio del Taco :grimacing:.
We couldn’t have that.
So we named him Benson.
Then when we eventually got his papers we found out his name was originally Reggie. I wish we knew before we called him Benson. He would have made a good Reggie. But Benson he will be.

Dinner was pretty unhealthy Whopper as that’s what the kids fancied, so I’m finishing it off with a glass of kefir with pomegranate seeds by way of an apology to my gut microbiome.

Yummy “bowl”. Lots of tasty stuff like kimchi, brown rice, sautéed kale, purple cabbage, seeds etc

After 3 days of chicken soup and vegan ice of frozen fruits and soya skyr, I needed something to chew.

Vegan beef with green beans and peanuts,
seasoned with szechuan pepper, garlic, ginger, chili and stevia

I tasted chili and the special Szechuan prickling… And sweetness. Anyway.

:fist:t2: fight the virus

The chicken stock I made turned into this Italian chicken soup with shallots and garlic, kale, garbanzo beans, zucchini, tomato, fresh thyme and other dried herbs. I also had a couple Parmesan rinds to throw in and the flavor is amazing. Of course better after a couple days!
