Sushi burrito roll!
Was not sure if this baby holds together
(salad and sellery leaves are from mums garden)
You are always so very creative. I’ve never seen lots of the stuff you make. It all looks good.
As you all know, we go out to eat way too much. I try not to post everything because,…. you know. Same ol same ol. And I didn’t make it. But……
This
Honey Roasted, Carrot Soup OMFG
Freakin amazing!
I’ve already googled it.
And you should too!!!
Poke bowl and it’s destruction
Sushi rice, lettuce, radish, cucumber, tomato, mango, celery leaves, kohlrabi with curry tofu and saté dressing
It’s good to cook some sushi rice on stock these hot days and got something delicious and healthy prepared without cooking a lot.
Refreshing dessert
Watermelon and pineapple spitzer with ice
German “Schorle” …
Don’t know translator says “Spritzer”
One of the restaurants we kinda quit going to brought back their roasted turkey dinner
They quit doing it during COVID. Can’t blame them. Well. They are definitely back in the rotation.
With extra gravy
Lots of nice looking food… @Dazercat love seeing your ‘in’ and ‘out’ food.
Back in the old days the grocery store used to give a free huge turkey for every $25.00 spent around Thanksgiving and Christmas. I would end up w lots to give away and to use throughout the year … making full turkey dinners often!
Plus the smoked turkeys would go on sale for $5.00 apiece, can you even believe? I would buy lots, freeze them, thaw out for sandwiches and salads…
Salad, greens, green beans, tomatoes, fat free feta
Peaches
Bon appetit everyone
Food is life.
Happy solstice.
This is one of my favorite meals and clearly one I cannot eat anymore. I make good GF gravy but haven’t mastered GREAT GF gravy.
The doc really wants to put me on a pill and says then I can eat whatever, because I am not Celiac. I hate everything about that sentiment. Like, really? Nah, I will skip the gravy, thanks I don’t need your three pages of possible side effects. I have already spent most of my life poisoning myself. I don’t need your help!
Maken you’re own bacon?
Makes me think of the best bacon I ever had.
If you like coffee. And I reckon you might.
This market in Durango use to sell coffee rubbed bacon. I don’t know how they did it. I’ve never been able to find it again. But it was the best darn thing I’ve ever had in my mouth. I got a coffee rub here for my steaks that’s awesome. But my cholesterol levels are keeping me from using it. Or eating bacon.
Enjoy
That sounds really interesting! I might have to give that a try
Two odd things about this foodie: 1. I LOVE cold canned veggies, especially spinach. 2. Obsessed with canned chicken, which really doesn’t taste like chicken.
My daughter gave me this for Father’s Day back when I was devouring all those ribeyes when I first quit drinking.
Oh those were the days. Eat whatever you want as long as you don’t drink
