Foodies Unite #7(trigger warning food) GNOC, GNOC, GNOCCHI ON HEAVEN'S DOOR!

:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: no problem. I’m not too keen on those, but I just googled Ines Rosales out of curiosity. They make 400.000 of those “tortas” daily! :flushed:

Seasoned it, put provolone cheese on top and olive oil. Then convection roasted it for 25 minutes. It was really tasty. And your meal looks delicious as always :heartpulse:

It’s a very methodical process and planning it out beforehand helps. I mix my dough at bedtime so that it can prove overnight.
A sticky dough makes a better loaf but can be difficult to handle which is where a dough scraper comes in.
If you’re proving the dough in a basket (banetton) then dust it liberally with brown rice flour which stops it from sticking.
It’s all just trial and error though.
Have fun!

Thanks Alissa.
Such a cute card.
Nothing much to report. I do miss my right hand girl in the kitchen. Benson has been kind of a slacker lately.

@EarnIt sorry your peach was not real good. I had an orchard in my twenties with large best ever peaches… for the most part afterwards I was always disappointed with store bought peaches and did not eat them. Sometimes the organic ones were good, and those from regional growers. Then a few years ago I tried the grocers again, wanting the organic white flesh ones… they were not any good. I would ask the produce man what he thought. Finally the last few years each year I have been getting ones that are truly remarkably delicious. Consistently so. Not organic, the organic ones are about $4.00 apiece. Look for that 4038 label, large yellow peach … get them hard, let them slowly ripen but before they ripen let them finish ripening in the fridge. Wishing you success, I know the frustration. I should freeze these before the season goes out.

Bon appetit everyone!
Food is life.
