End of summer dinner. Everything local, down to the mustard, well except for the elote toppings. Fabulous slicer tomato, pickle canned by a friend, corn from the farm stand for elote (Mexican Street corn with sour cream, tajin, and Trader Joe’s Everything But The Elote seasoning, which I love), and local pork brat. I love this time of year.

Best steak, and cooked perfectly, that I’ve had in a long time. So nice to be back in Scottsdale.
Forest mushrooms could have been good. But I’ll never know. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: texture thing. I ain’t touching them.

Made a peach crisp type dish with local peaches, The only sugar/sweetener is local tasty maple syrup with I added to the oat crumb with melted butter. Tasty topped with vanilla Greek yogurt. Kiddo loved helping. Hubby said he’d prefer a bit sweeter but I thought it was perfect :laughing:

Egg salad (there’s horeradish in it), blue cheese and dill. It’s become my 100% favorite way to eat these farm-fresh eggs of mine.

Amazing. I absolutely love eggs and blue cheese. Others have poo pooed it when I brought it up! Dill also sounds perfect.

Today was the first time I topped with dill. There’s something about the horseradish/blue/dill combo that is ultimately satisfying. :yum:
