Going to need a little red onion and black olive on there. I’ll share because uh…my skin is like the surface of the moon due to my cleaning the house of crappy food shenanigans.
What are the salmon and avocado perched on? It looks delicious and so satisfying. This is such a pretty plate!
That’s EXACTLY how I ordered it last time I was here. No wifey. You must have seen that pic from 2 Sundays ago.
Other than the chips, this is one of the crappiest lunches I have ever had. Tuna (crappy tuna) on a BFree Pita (Ewwwww), tomato (that was fine), in the air fryer.
You know what I learned from this lunch? As shitty as my current situation is, I am still entitled AF.
As for the “pita,” I basically broke my whole body by eating gluten for a week. So, we won’t be doing that anymore.
My errands this morning took much longer and I ended up grocery shopping hungry…never a good idea. But I wanted something I could eat as soon as I got home and this smoked salmon dip with capers was “manager’s special,” aka clearance , at the deli. It’s pretty good actually! A side of the cutest and sweetest little cherry tomatoes from my friend’s garden.
Old fashioned Dutch potatoes and calliflower with cheese and (spring) onion sauce. Not much colour but very tasty. For the carnivores and the looks I might have added some ham.
I At least made it to the store for some fruit.
“Candy Hearts,” Red grapes.
Pineapple.
Mango. I got to quit buying fresh chopped up at the store. But I’m not liking the frozen one either.
Mushy blueberries.
Strawberries.
And the “less sugar,” vanilla yogurt had cinnamon in it. Not a fan.
Ran the avocado through the little food processor we got. Came out nicely. But the whole jalapeño is a doozy. Holy Shit
Defrosted some dairy-free corn and poblano chowder that I made last season and added some corn stock I had frozen in blocks as well as some fresh grilled sweet corn from our BBQ this weekend. The poblanos were mild when I made it last year but they sure developed a kick! Weird, I would have thought it would be the opposite. After ladling the soup in bowls I stirred in some sour cream. A quesadilla also with some sliced tomatoes in the middle (@Alisa I found those Tortilla Factory low carb wheat tortillas, not bad) and all the best toppings. Avocado hiding in there, too. I love how festive this looks. Very fresh tasting.
It is a bread without flour, made of seeds and oats only.
