We had about six peaches that were not ripening but turning woody, so I made a sort of peach crisp. Had to improvise as I was short on butter, but it turned out very tasty.

If I remember I’ll get one just for you so I can post it. I cannot believe this is one of my favorite restaurants. My daughter turned me on to it in Santa Monica. Back then I was not as receptive to it. Actually she got me there with an open mind but I was kicking and screaming. 12 years ago. Dad’s grown up now :joy:
C’mon down. My treat :hugs:

Heavy on the weeds, Pal.

Arugula is rich in nutrients like potassium, folate, and vitamins A and C . These help with various functions in the body, such as nerve and heart function, while supporting a healthy immune system. Regularly eating arugula can help you reach your recommended potassium intake of 1,000 to 1,200 milligrams.

I’m doing better at it. I think you were gone and I posted and made my own arugula salad with strawberries and candied pecans with some oil and vinegar. It was gorgeous. The battle is over. I’ve surrendered to the arugula gods. I just don’t need a mountain of it. Especially on my pizza.

Camp meals! All cooked on our well seasoned cast iron skillet over the fire.
Sandwich cut (thin sliced, 5 oz) ribeyes with mushrooms and onions.

Leftovers enough to add to eggs the next day along with some green bell pepper for breakfast.

Pickin’s meal after a long hike hit the spot. We grazed the rest of the day while relaxing at this beautiful spot in the woods, our campsite.
