Turkey Club with a spicy aioli and the avocado on the side. House made waffle chips and a mango smoothie.
One of favorite things is homemade chips. I really need to learn it a bit better!
Finally trying these GF crackers my mom sent in my birthday box. They’re quite nice actually! Afternoon snack with roasted garlic hummus. I really need to make a big batch of hummus. I have frozen portions in the past with great success. I prefer my homemade anyway, and it’s so easy to make, just have to dedicate the time.
I have a pal who rep’d them in HyVee. They are pretty good.
I want to join you in hummus making. I also want to make my own crackers! BTW for this thread: I never made lentil "meat"balls. I have a great deal of depression these days, missing my kids and being alone. Phpt.
I want to make own crackers too. Sending hugs, friend. Take care of yourself best you can and the lentil “meat”balls will be waiting for whenever the time is right. No need to put pressure on you needlessly. No expectations here! Maybe we can encourage each other on the hummus making front (probably won’t get to it till the weekend in my case).
This looks so good. Plan to duplicate this weekend.
The grapefruit and kale worked great with the crispy pan seared salmon. The whole thing was great. I wished it was bigger.
The Living Room
Cappuccino and salad for a starter. It was a long day.
Pan roasted half chicken with mashed potatoes carrots and broccolini with pan gravy
Yummy. Looks delicious.
Pumpkin Seed and Flax cereal from Aldi, also have eaten Coconut and Chia, also from there. Not bad. I mean, I love bananas.
Big salad with grilled chicken and a breaded chicken tender and topped with leftover slaw from the weekend.
Ouh sounds nice.
Do you have a recipe?
When I grated zucchini I added a whole carrot too. Also we live on a walnut farm so I used full cup of nuts. Walnuts go with everything.
