Wednesday Meal: Steak onions potatoes and carrots something simple have a great
Wu-Wednesday to all ha! Peace
So satisfying
Holy Moley! Things:
- I have only microwaved nachos since I was back home in late October.
- Yes, kidney beans…I picked them up instead of black beans, apparently.
- My mouth is a wee bit on fire. Different for Herdez or green chilis.
Lots of mini tastes in the green things!
Found a great little place in Camarillo
Look at these cute little muffys
Chilaquiles
with over easy eggs on top and a spectacular chili verde on top. Under the eggs.
I don’t think there’s going to be any shortage of Mexican food for me around here. I can’t wait to try more little places like this.
Chilaquiles is one of my favorite things! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack…Some are really badly made by people who have no clue how to make them. This pic looks happy.
I have lots of friends in that town.
I don’t think any 2 Chilaquiles are the same. The green chili verde had pork in it yump
I’m only 4 miles to Camarillo.
Broccoli with dijon!
Eggs with my trusty garlic chives ( they always come back up)
Bon appetit everyone!
Food (in moderation) is life xo
Gosh…
I tried these fancy blended chia oats and it’s just… Uhm!
3 spoones oats
2 spoones chia
2 spoones vegan vanilla protein
Plantmilk
Blend
Put some rasins in it, that got puffy overnight and a tsp of cashew butter on top for the mood (tryptophan)
Looking forward to tomorrows breakfast as I got another glass prepared in the fridge
You can eat waffles in a lot of different ways.
There’s chicken and waffles with maple flavored syrup.
And there’s heart shaped waffles the “Swedish way” with whipped cream and cloudberry jam.
For dinner today I did both
My kids on the other hand choosed to eat their waffles with Nutella and powdered sugar.
My husband had chocolate sauce and cloudberry jam on his.
Finished last night off with a tasty little cheese charcuterie board. Wifey had desert.
I see you eyeing the honey comb Jené @EarnIt I know you want some
And that blue cheese @Alisa scrumptious
Although the xtra sharp cheddar was my fave with a touch of the honey on it.
Is that another protein bagel? I’ll have to try them. I love bagels too much and some extra protein would be good.
It is! It’s a brand called Dave’s killer protein bagel. It has 11 grams of protein but that’s not much more than other bagels. Once I added the eggs, cheese and turkey bacon- that bagel had 46gms of protein.
I’m familiar with the brand. Interesting it’s not much more than a typical one. The power of marketing, eh? I used to buy their thin sliced bread, I’ll have to check them out again. Thanks.
@Tito23 I have a mini pit bull too! She is mixed and has some shar pei and “sporting breeds” also, my guess is other terrier types. How much does your cutie weigh? Lupe is about 40 lbs and as she’s gotten older she has developed a huge food motivation she didn’t have when she was younger, so she watches us eat all the time these days waiting for a snack. At least she doesn’t huff and puff and do a stompy dance like her late brother Chucho used to! Would you consider yours a blue nose pit? Here she is begging HARD for whatever I was eating Thanks for the distraction today, I needed it!
Chicken salad situation. I found this dressing and I dig it. They have other flavors I plan to check out
Dave’s Killer is only bread and bagels we eat. Thanks for sharing!
