I fucking love AA. i feel loads lighter after going to a meeting. Its nice to have the fellowship and sober fun on a friday night.

Today was a long friday 
woke up at 4am to take my hubs to the airport, went to work and fridays are always crazy at work…then immediately after i drove 4 1/2 hours to my friends house for her daughters bday tomorrow. Worth the drive though, looking forward to spending the weekend with my dear friend!

I just got home from work over here and have the patio door open to the chilly weather for the kitties. I just passed another apartment door and heard the occupant (who I used to have a beer with from time to time) drunkenly yelling. This just re-affirms my sober choice. I picked up 8 hours of overtime tomorrow so I have to pack my weekend into Sunday. Tonight I’ll drink some tea and eat some cheeseballs.

It is. The longer I stay sober the less FOMO I have. They can have their drinks and their bars and rowdy Fridays. I’m good here.

My Fridays so often include just me watching whatever films there’s on the telly. This evening I watched ‘Hereditary’. I don’t usually opt for horror, and I wasn’t too convinced with this one, but boy oh boy, I can tell you, Toni Collette never fails!

I’m working tonight until late and then tomorrow I take a big professional exam. If anyone out there feels like helping me manifest a good score feel free to concentrate on the number 720. 400 is passing but I’m aiming high since I’ve been putting in a lot of study time. The odd grading scale isn’t worth a lot of explanation. See ya’ll on the other side.
