I had a LONG day at work. Just getting home after making amends to my folks. I feel like a million bucks. The peace and joy i know these days in sobriety are liberating.
Ordered some takeaway and theres some trashy reality tv in my future.

Friday is winding down. I took my girls to a trampoline park today, that was fun, then had supper and watched a movie. It was a pretty low key night, just like I prefer.

I passed that big 'ol scary exam!!! I can call myself a Medical Laboratory Scientist now. Old me would be at the bar celebrating. Happy, new me is cozy at home, cleaning up my study space, eating good food and watching bad TV. Sobriety ROCKS!!

It is such a special thing to celebrate sober. Now I’ll just have to set and knock down a new goal. I think I’ll tackle my desire to be able to do a pull-up.

Going to watch Santa Camp documentary on HBO Max later. My best childhood friend, we grew up together is actually in it. He loves playing Santa. He looks like him too.

We’re hiding from the bitter cold and watching The Pentaverate on Netflix. Mike Myers’ stupid but can’t-help-but-laugh humor at its best. My husband is cracking up 
He gets a few chuckles from me.

It’s my day off since I work the weekend. Since I passed my professional exam there is no more need to study so I spent two hours in two different bookstores, went to the hardware store to scout a home improvement project, grocery shopped and now I’m at home baking a delicious casserole and watching all the TV while I tidy the house. Bliss over here. Happy Friday all!

Laying in bed at 6:30 the night before my 8th half marathon tomorrow morning. First one I’ll be doing since getting sober. I had a nice big pasta dinner and mocktail and now I will watch TV until I fall asleep. Happy Friday All!
