Not many pics @TrustyBird Emilie, here’s my lovely bright kitchen where I prepared our pickin’s dinner. And a view from the kitchen to the living room. There is a countertop overhang on the living room side with a perfect spot for the two tall stools we have. The table in the living room was left by the seller and we are just using it temporarily in the empty living room. The empty space next to that table in the kitchen is where the refrigerator we bought today will go! It’s definitely starting to feel like things are starting to take shape.

Thank you! I love it, even if the kitchen is small it feels functional and with a good flow. More new house pics when we legit move in. I hope you had a great time camping. We’re looking at when we might go camping, too.

That was my first time to the Yellow River Forest and it was gorgeous. I will be back to that area soon.

Enjoy the settling in. Unpacking a new home is very exciting. Unpacking after a camping trip, not so much fun. I have a wet tent on my patio to deal with. Worth it!

I used to find them in the yard in Tucson, also. So cute! And wow do they ever blend in the ground and are hard to find.

I’m glad. I have to say, I have a bad habit of picking up every critter I find! Glad I didn’t try to pick up the Gila monster that showed up in that yard!

Here’s another cute critter we found in our desert experience. This one turned out to be a baby of a non native tortoise species and we gave it to a wildlife rehab facility.
