Here is the reason why I’m still in bed. He is so comfy on me, I’m a good cat bed
I remember staying with my uncle in AZ 30 years ago and horned lizards were all over his yard. He lived in the middle of the desert miles from any town. They were so cool I didn’t want to leave.
Happy friday sober folks!
What are you doing today?
Here it’s lunchtime and I’m on my lunch break. Beautiful weather at last. Perfect for garden work. I potted plants, cleaned the front deck with the pressure washer. Now I’m waiting it to dry, tidy it from all the dirt and grass that was removed and clean it again. I’m looking like a sprinkled mud monster
Not much else planned. Maybe I reward myself with pizza delivery for being so productive.
Edit to add: Not a single day without rain The pizza was delicious. Instead of the second round of cleaning it will be cats & me on the couch in the afternoon, a nap and maybe some office work.
Just finished work, now I’m on my way home. It’s sunny and warm, but I’m very tired. I think I’ll eat and then nap. And then? Don’t know yet
Just starting my workday. I have therapy at lunchtime. Then I need to pack for my trip. It’ll be an early night for me since I have to be at the airport at 4am tomorrow. Glad I won’t be hungover!
Just waking up on this glorious Friday.
So we had this big software upgrade at work on Wedneaday and did NOT go as planned, lots of issues. Some might be my fault, I failed to inform a 3rd party vendor that we are upgrading software that they have a dependancy on, now this vendors software also doesn’t work.
So I’ll be dealing with the fallout of that again today.
Im laying in bed, and from the amount of light hitting my curtains, looks like its going to be a nice day today.
So my friday is work, yard work and make supper, movie/show with dessert and chill.
Lets do this!
Early on Friday mornings, only the coming weekend can stabilise my mood.
It’s now early Saturday morning for me.
You all are living in the past.
You’ve gotta learn to let go… Yesterday is gone. Move on.
Also, have a great weekend
How was Friday night? Because I’m about to get into it in about 8 hours!
Worked morning shift, came home, ate a bit, procrastinated, called a friend, journaled and went for a swim. Now I’m waiting for Hubby to get home. We need to have a talk
It was a night like many others, yet this was a Friday… filled with promise and hope and a quiet undercurrent of excitement and anticipation of what the weekend would hold. An understanding of the tasks needing to be done, and agreeable mystery of what joys the remaining time would deliver as I satisfy my body, brain and heart’s wants and needs in terms of self care, relaxation and enjoyment of life.
I also had both ice cream and cake after enjoying a perfectly cooked fillet steak with a medley of oven roasted veggies (potato, onion, carrot, beetroot).
Friday night sounds exhilarating, I cannot wait!
Can come for a visit? That sounds like a superb dinner
I’m still trying to find a balance in working and cooking for two. Well actually, it’s like cooking for 1-5. Sometimes Hubs doesn’t eat at home (his work feeds him) and sometimes he devours a dish that I estimated would last 2-3 days
Struggling with a migraine today so just taking it easy so I can hopefully be recovered by tomorrow and our big move! I have been enjoying the litter of 7 Labrador Retriever puppies next door, though! I played with them for the first time yesterday and I am sneaking peeks today - so cute to hear their little yips! Lupe is perplexed by their “cries” but has checked them out a few times. It’s funny to see her puzzled expression!
Happy Friday folks. I have an 8 hour work shift separating me from this fabulous weekend. In addition to working I have two goals today, 25 burpees that have stalled my fitness routine because I dread them so much (it sounds so silly when I type it out) and riding my bike to work. I live embarrassingly close to my work and drive everyday. Today I ride!!
Thank for sharing pictures of your new home.
Very nice! I sage a new place also, lol
Or when someone negative stops by!
