Well. We are in the basement hiding from a tornado warning. There are windows and we can see the trees being violently whipped around. The alert will expire in a few minutes so I’m sure we are safe. But there has been pea sized hail and very heavy rain. Another storm headed here in an hour. Exciting! And a bit scary.

Well I really want to hit the hay but we are waiting out this severe weather that just keeps going, if that counts. Every time we come back upstairs because it’s “safe” we get another tornado warning. Third time now. I’m so sleeeeeepy.

It’s morning here, it has been raining since yesterday afternoon, my motivation to do something is as low as humidity is high
As a trip with friends was cancelled due to rain I’ve a full friday of opportunities ahead. I’m looking forward to my therapy appointment in the afternoon, I need it badly.
There will be lots of cat snuggles, headbumps and purring away like now. Acupuncture included, Missi is happily tamping away on me. Ouch.
There will be chores, vacuuming and putting away laundry is overdue.
Office work and bills are waiting patiently for me as I’ve been procrastinating
First: staying in bed as long as my cats want to snuggle. Second: Tea & cat chores. Then I will see what I do with this friday until I put my head on the pillow again. Sober. Waking up sober never gets old.

Hello all. It is officially Friday and I’m off because I work this Saturday and Sunday.
Today is a prequel to the WEEK I took off of work starting Monday. I have challenged myself to do one thing social, one thing physical, one thing creative and to clean one thing every day I am off work. I’ll also find some time to relax.
But first Friday. I’m having lunch with my sister, running errands, taking a hike, grocery shopping and dinner with my brother. If I don’t get those done today I have a whole week. Hopefully. Lets do it sober ya’ll. Drinking would ruin everything. 🫶🏼

Happy Friday everyone, loving reading your plans for the day. I also have next week off but have 5 hours of work to do first. I am in a very good mood so hoping that continues!
Not sure what to do this afternoon after I finish work. Did the gym yesterday so need a plan.

Like Emilie I have this day off and work the weekend. Now heading for individual therapy. After that not sure yet. Should do some house chores. Don’t really feel like it. Well. Will see. Love to you all for sure. X

Update: It’s lunchtime and I just woke up from the deep sleep Missi purred me in. So I slept in all morning This spontaneous day off surprisingly relaxing. But now tea and cat chores, the cats are hungry and Missi started to chew on my fingers
