Iām trying not to buy too much fabric from the start especially if I can use what I have. This was a dress that was never flattering. Now itās a pillow. Tomorrow Iāll cinch the band to make it look like a giant bow tie. Not beautiful but it told me what it wanted to be and was a lot of fun to make in 2 hours.

I love it! Great way to upcycle and +10 your skills. Iād like to learn to sew, I think it would be sew cool! Iāve tried on a old machine, but it would only break the thread; sew frustrating. You did good! Sew good!

I never want to needle the point but here is a pic of me assembling my quilt topper.
Next up quilted tote with my leftover fabrics.
It really is sew fun and Iām sew impressed by how well i stuck to it. 12 hours of sewing today with some ice dying, a party and dinner out.
Too tired to pun anymore but I wanted to pun thimble and baste and the fabric (!!) of my brain wouldnāt let me.

Happy Friday everyone 
This week I have my companion dog exam coming up, which Alma and I have been training for since October. If it doesnāt work out this time, Iāll still be able to retake the exam at the end of the month at my own club.

I learned this week that our friends in B.C. Canada has sprung forward for the last time; they have stopped participating in DLS. They will be an hour ahead of us West Coasters by an hour during winter months, which will be weird because the border is 20 minutes from work, and a lot of our business is from Canada. Iām low key jelly.

Hey hey Friday. Posting for some motivation. Due to a tiny snafu I have to stop by the tax office and finish our returns, I almost got away with not doing anything with them (except gathering documents, buying a printer, printing them all out, making the appointment and sending my husband with the folder). So Iām finishing our taxes today. In honor of this chore being completed Iām stopping at the craft store on the way home to buy some notions to inspire my next craft project. Then a trip to the grocery store because it has been a very long while since I shopped.
I do the taxes, he feeds us.
Then home to a movie marathon and some cleaning, or records and some sewing. Itās my day off so anything could happen, except a drink. That wonāt be on the agenda. As RDJ says āI have plans for Christmasā.

I feel a marathon so I donāt really have to watch and can clean as I go. Maybe a John Wick marathon, maybe a silly DVDs from my childhood night (Raising Arizona, Quick Change, and my all time favorite Young Frankenstein). Iāll let you know post day off nap.

Friday over.
Slept all afternoon because dead tired. Now I canāt sleep at night 
Anyway, it was a good friday 13th as always, I fumbled around with the chainsaw, the zoo got cuddles galore and no bullshit was taken, no fucks given 
After scrolling through my favourite wool-shop for 3 hours I declare my brain tired enough from adoring knitting projects I will never do 
Nighty night from far too late / early here (itās 2.30 a.m.)
