Checking in… Got out of bed.. made coffee… then went to fridge to start breakfast.. discovered power out.. storm not here yet but no power.. No breakfast, no shower as we have a well. Hour later got back power.. Did my morning tasks and reset clocks… Only to have power off again.. back on now.. I can see Friday is going to be awesomely annoying…Thunder, Lighting Heavy Rain..

This weekend looks like it will be a bit quieter than the last few, so apart from a preparation run for the upcoming company race, nothing else is planned so far.
Here it’s 8.30 a.m., it’s a beautiful spring day, sunshine, warm, birds singing, a light breeze.

The 56 kg dramaking got his hindpaw nails clipped. I’m exhausted, he must rest after breakfast
Sherlock the queen of mischief got her first shower by garden hose, the salad & carrot pot is NOT a cat spot
Today’s meal is cooking, the nurture tea for the seedlings boils, kitchen is as clean as possible, I’m having tea on the balcony
No specific plans for today & weekend. Fumbling plants, mowing, farmwork, cleaning, chores, maybe some tidying/decluttering. Whatever suits me.
Yummi food, naps, knitting, reading and watching series for sure.
If I’m motivated I’ll do a manipedi.
3 days with no need to drive anywhere. Exept I want to.

Today I finally have an appointment with a dermatologist. Getting appointments with specialists in Germany is becoming increasingly difficult. For example, you sometimes have to show up in person at the start of a new quarter just to secure a slot.
Otherwise, we’ll be spending the weekend with my girlfriend’s sister, which will surely be fun again.

What are you doing today?
My friday is over, I lounge on the couch with Missi cat on my legs.
I’m done and dusted, farmwork, chores, too much, exhausting but I like my life as it is
Tomorrow will be the same more or less, farmwork & chores.
Sunday will be dog training, exhausting too but hopefully rewarding
And sunday afternoon I will sleep, sleep, sleep
Sounds like a good productive Friday… the relaxing is always better once all the hard work is done.. Glad you’re able to get some chill time.
My chores and work for the day are done as well.. Curently I just got done playing basketball now I’m chilling in front of the fan Drinking iced coffee and listening to a Nirvana greatest hits cd. Might play with my hot-wheels collection or maybe do some painting..
off tomorrow so probably gonna go play my guitar out on the streets somewhere with lots of foot traffic. But tonight I will rest.

Here it’s a public holiday too so it’s the long weekend crazyness all around
I denied any shopping yesterday, stayed away from roads and was happy home.
Today: same
It’s lunchtime and I had already a nice day! Slept in, petcuddles, fumbled some climbing aids together, brought a Billy bookshelf and several boxes from basement to ground floor, brought cupboard boxes to the basement storage. I love my tractor, what would I do without it? Definitely not move furniture between floors within no time easily
Had yummy bruch and for the next hours I’ll chill on the couch. Then it’s time for the daily evening routine for dog & cats.
The weekend will be filled with plants fumbling, tidying and chilling
Tonight is opening night for my Son’s high-school’s dramaclubs production of You’re a Goodman, Charlie Brown. He is playing Pigpen. Looking forward to it.
Meanwhile, watching some old Seahawks games, snacking.
This weekend I’ll be decluttering the garage, look for posts about that little project.
Hanging out with my best friend tonight. We always have a great time. She has been sober for about 5 years now. I love seeing how much progress she’s made in her life. She’s a real champion. We always laugh a lot and have great conversations.
I’m going to introduce her to a Japanese market, middle eastern market, and an eastern european market. We have a lot of great little markets in the city that are sort of hidden away unless someone is specifically looking for them.
Damn i missed the friday thread again. Mine was action packed with work, meeting up with the folks, and cooking dinner. Looking forward to some fun this weekend: gym, running, good weather, meeting with sponsee, mothers day breakfast, hubbys play, and chores.
I vote we all move to 4 day work weeks. I have too much living to do to cram into 2 days per week!
Long weekend in German again. There will be some nice activities for my including squash, rides on the peloton bike and a visit to the heigh ropes course.
