Today is my girlfriendās birthday, so of course weāre once again preparing way too much food for ten people in total. Among other things, there will be muffins with cream filling and hot dogs.
@erntedank, we wonāt open the windows or curtains until 9 p.m. either because of the heat.

Today is Juneteenth in the USA. It is a national holiday. It marks the date of June 19, 1865, when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to announce that the Civil War had ended and that all enslaved people in the state were free.
Im greatful i have the day off and can replenish my body battery. I have a massage scheduled that ive been looking forward to for months! Working out, cooking and chores are on the docket today too

Here itās 9 a.m., itās hot as fuck, I would like to join @Planipennia and all who have access to water to swim in on hand (and not a 1 h drive away like me).
As lounging in pool, lake or sea is no option for me, I enjoyed my shower to the max and will stay inside exept walking the dog for a very short round. When you gotta poo you gotta poo

Happy Friday sober fam! I am up but not feeling well so will get some more shut eye after my morning routine.
Plan for today is pool / sauna. Then I have to do paperwork for work and errands but be available for a tech whoās coming to check out the AC at my rental. Than itās off to work. I am keep my fingers crossed that the tech shows up on the early side of his window.

I paid my savings and the rest is bills. Its ok delayed gratification and all. Saving to go halo jumping from 30k feet up for my 40th next year!

Friday day off over here. I drove my husband to and from the dentist where they yanked out two of his infected teeth. Later Iāll be making a Jell-o bundt birthday cake for a birthday party Iāll be attending tonight. There will be alcohol there but that doesnāt interest me, this forward momentum depends on my sobriety. Weekends are better sober.

I was supposed to be summiting Mt. Adams today, but had to bail last minute due to weather. So instead, taking it easy at home, took the day off from work.
I think Iāll try to do a few tasks around the house that Iāve been putting off; that sounds like a plan.
Tomorrow, my son and I are going to tag a mountain summit, which will be nice!

Friday for me 10am and havenāt started yet. No hubby this weekend. He is closing business and taking care of all the stuff needed. I have a todo list of wants and must dos. Question when hummingbirds swarm the window do you think the feeders are empty? When dog pouts on the couch do you think she wants me out of chair and get moving? I believe yes just a few more minutes of wallowing in laziness.

This week, the heatwave here was finally broken by some much-needed rain, so we avoided setting any more heat records. Temperatures above 35Ā°C (95Ā°F) are very unusual for our region.
Tomorrow, after my run, Iāll be enjoying a barbecue with good friends, and on Saturday Iām finally going hiking again with my godfather after a long break.
I hope you have some nice activities planned as well and that youāre all doing well.

I have the day off work in observance of Independence day. I will workout, do some continuing education for my license, and get together with family. Somehow i was dubbed the pyrotechnic in the family and now that my pops is older i lead the fireworks display. Turns out we have about an hour and a half of booms. Luckily the neighbors dont mind.

Hello my sober peeps! Happy Friday. A long weekend for me and my inner self is super geeked about. Wish this heatwave would f off but hey I still have plenty to do indoors.
Nothing planned out except my swim time. Heading to the pool shortly but skipping the steak and sauna 
. Then will just go with the flow.
Have lentils and beans soaked and dough proofing for my meals so I feel ahead of the game.
