Yes and yes, Portulaca aka Moss Rose. One of my favorites, I’ve not missed a year of having this on my porch in over a decade now! That evening I had some blossoms

I was growing some tomatoes in the garden which I think came out pretty well! And then my girlfriend’s mom’s dog came by and absolutely destroyed all my tomato plants.

Terrible…my stepdaughter has this little dog always licking and try to kiss French with me :cold_sweat: which I don’t like (with dogs anyway) and always try to destroy my plants :rage:… @LuluJo…you can’t fight stupidness indeed. I am a big hollyhock fan and I have sown lots of seeds in my city. The ‘greenman’ of the township couldn’t distinguish these beautiful plants and killed them despite they were almost 1 meter high and almost ready to bloom! At the same time our township encourage people to spread flower seeds :see_no_evil:…to save the :honeybee:zzzz

And they don’t need any tending. I am waiting for my black hollyhocks to bloom. The gardener didn’t cut luckily.
Much love to you and your garden.

What the hell?

Those are so pretty. These were one of the few flowers my mom could grow and not seemingly kill. Although I don’t remember having access to all the crazy and fancy plants I do now. The thought of perennials was not even thought of. Lol…

The other flowers that I was trying to figure out whether I could make work were 4 o’clocks. I have seem them at the nursuries here so not sure how well they do. Also, they may be mistaken for weeds when growing in my beds. Lol

Is that what it is? I let it go dry then drink from the bottom. I thought it just needed transplanted and sun so I put it outside but then Rubie got at it. All those holes are teeth marks :smirk_cat:

Yes, an aloe. Also might have gotten too cold.
