Nice! Excited for spring to see some flowers. Calling for up to 40cm (15.7inches) of snow this week so I’ll have to wait a bit longer lol

@Bootz
This one is a purple bearded iris. It is in a sunny yard up the street from me. Nice looking flower.

I’m ready… :blush::100::100::100:

Strangest thing happened today… I was looking at all the pretty Easter flowers :bouquet: on here (they’re my favorite) thinking I can’t wait to plant our garden and food this year… Well my husband had came home and had left these on my kitchen counter for me… I like these better than purchased flowers because they are free, somebody just had to be thoughtful enough to pick them… He is… :heart_eyes::bouquet:

I :sparkling_heart: SpRiNg!!! :older_woman::older_man: :tractor::dash::seedling::tomato::seedling::corn::seedling::hot_pepper::seedling::mushroom:

I’m thinking it’s just about time to start my garden. Going to do it from seeds this year.

First little bed made and garlic planted at the allotment yesterday. The rain has been pretty relentless which means it is all very swampy.

Great post for a pick me up in a day 2 for me. once the rain and storm here finally slows down it is also time for my garden! in 2 weeks my new tiles and sunscreen will be delivered and then plant herbs and stuff. love to grow own food as well. unfortunately my garden is not big enough for that. but enough to fix anyway. and in spring going into the fields to pick edible weeds to make pestos and stuff.

First lot of seeds sown in pots. Not got the beds ready to plant them out in yet but I figure it will all come together when it needs to!

I can hardly wait! I rent a house so no garden in the ground, but I had about 15 container plants on my back deck last year and a bumper crop of early girl, Roma and beefsteak tomatoes, serrano and habanero chiles, kale and basil. I keep busy tending to my houseplant babies inside in the winter, but I’m ready to get my hands in the soil for sure! It’s a bit early here in northeastern Iowa just yet…

Found these guys blooming in one of my gardens yesterday. I also started thinking about how to best expand the vegetable garden…I figure that can’t hurt these days.

Beautiful! I’ve got 4 small raised boxes for veggies. Decided this year to expand; hubby will dig me up an area for squash/zucchini, etc. especially handy if there continues to be produce shortages. Can wait for our first signs of spring up here! :cherry_blossom:

I am soo ready for spring, I’m in a transitional home and have asked for a rake but haven’t seen one yet. I want to get a bike, so I can start riding again. I signed up for the Great Cycle Challenge this summer and I need to get in shape.
