Gardening In Recovery

At the front of my house, I don’t have a garden so I use pots and bins! Only my three hollyhocks are with their roots in full ground!

Ever since I read “Stalking the wild asparagus” by Eull Gibbons, I’ve been fascinated by wild edibles. I came across my neighbor today as he was hunting for fiddlehead ferns, a sure sign of Spring in New England. No luck yet, though.

These 2 beauties bloomed today but there’s cold weather on the way so hoping the weather doesn’t kill everything else.

Thanx and it’s not finished yet…my husband is going to finish the bricks around our tree (we adopted the tree recently) and all my seeds has to become what they are (I don’t know what I have sown…just sow all kinds of seeds I took from holidays). I can’t wait :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. At the right (lower picture) we have a little cozy chill loft (my husband built that himself and in the summer we -my kids and us- argue who sleeps in it) …I’ll show pictures later!
