Awwwww gorgeous! Ours around here are all gone now.

The white peonies are dying or dead. I was happy to see three of these. I’ll likely clip them and bring to my office tomorrow :hibiscus:

There’s still so much chamomile! I harvested a full large cookie sheet worth each day the past three days and the plants look like I haven’t touched them. I am running out of room to keep up with drying it.

Update on the peas — they’ve grown probably 3 times taller than last I posted them. Also found some self seeded dill and some of last year’s sage is coming back.

New addition to my balcony. Banana mint. Only needs water. Smells great. Ideal.

Little photo dump from this morning
Finally cooled off here over night and was a perfect 60°F when I woke up today

First time having success starting kale from seed. Most years it stays small or the birds devour it. Here’s hoping it keeps thriving.

Spotted the first few blossoms on the peas!

Not much time left of rhubarb season. Plants are going to seed fast! Did a decent sized harvest for freezing and making preserves. Going to try a batch with mint in it.

Trying something new this year for drying chive blossoms doing little braided bunches (secretly hoping my garlic is more successful this year and basically just practicing braiding for that) :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

And the hopeful garlic patch. If nothing else there’s at least some garlic scapes to be enjoyed.

All looking beautiful! I love the braided chives  It was a beautiful, cool morning here, too.

Baby red bell pepper  I’ve struggled to get them going soon enough in the season in the past, so I’m hopeful this year to have some mature bells!

In fact, everything is taking off like gangbusters. The garden is loving this heat and sun.

I saw this and was inspired by @Salty’s fresh rhubarb in the foodie thread. I’ve never grown rhubarb so hopefully I won’t kill it

Oohhh yay rhubarb I’m excited for you!! It is so resilient. We’ve had the same rhubarb plants at my dads house for the entire 25 ish years he’s owned the house and they were planted long before that by the previous owner.

He dug up what he thought was all of one of them to give a friend and now a few years later it’s completely come back from the smallest bit left behind.

Resilient is good! I’ve been known to kill my share of plants. Trial and error, I guess. Your rhubarb harvest picture was awesome. I’m moving my way up from growing herbs. I did try to grow strawberries and raspberries at one point, but I decided the battle against the ants in this area wasn’t worth it. :weary:
