Got a good endurance run in this morning. The first mile sucked. Like I literally didnāt want to do this run but I did. Somewhere after mile 6 my body started cruising so that was nice. All in all, good run!

No āwalk of shameā picking it up again this time around; Iām just supporting myself after I saw the backslide results manifest and accepted my consequences. Here I am back at it for a more manageable sustainable approach with the right nutrition support this time as well.
Broke it into 15 mins solid elliptical and then 20 mins beginner hip hop dance. Used to do dance every day back in 2020, felt good to be back to moving in a more fun way. Looking forward to rehoning my skills.
Tmw is a strength training day. Gonna alternate so i donāt get burned out just running exclusively.

Just finished a quick but focused 15 min strength/ resistance sesh, didnāt have much time but made it work anyways and glad i did.
Work was so stressful! I had some steam to run off. Runnerās high for the win. Got right under 5 miles

Not necessarily a new photograph, but most definitely one of my favourites that I can share. This was taken of me at the finish line of Kielder Half Marathon back in 2019. Back then, it was a struggle to complete a 10k, nevermind a Half Marathon, so this was a big deal for me. Nowadays, Iāve completed various races over an array of distances, have ran in different countries and have two major full Marathons to look forward to in 2023 (London & Chicago)!

I think if I can put up almost 10 miles after an hr weight session Iāll be fine Sunday. Getting pretty excited for the race atmosphere. Iām about to go find all the food and take a nap

thanks! In retrospect the run would have been so much easier without the weights beforehand I ate and took a rest between but by mile 7-8 I was feeling very out of fuel. My race starts at 7:15am mountain time if you want to cheer me on! (no idea what time that would be for you, you might be sleeping then lol)
