Welcome. As Dylan suggests, go with what your body tells you. Just keep doin the next right thing.
Read around on here, use the search to search any questions.
Just relax, you are not alone in the fear, but use that fear to power you positively, don’t use it negatively

Hello and a warm welcome, stick around to read people’s journeys ,I find it really helps a distorted OVER thinking mind.be kind and patient with yourself and remind yourself daily this is your journey it isn’t a destination  :fallen_leaf::maple_leaf::sunflower::maple_leaf::sunflower::sunflower::fallen_leaf::fire::maple_leaf::sunflower::sunflower:

Hello friend. Im new and terrified too…again. Ive been wanting to get sober for about 15 years and actually trying the past 6. My sponsor suggested I write a good-bye letter to alcohol a couple days ago, which i thought sounded cheesy but I decided to do it anyway. it ended up being pretty powerful for me…i was surprised at what came out when i finally got writing. There’s something magical about putting pen to paper…dont trip on what words to use or what to say, just the act of doing it can really help you get your s*** out. Happy 24 :revolving_hearts:

Thabk you so much I appreciate it. I tried an outpatient program last year because I waa forced to. Now I am.just doing it on my own

thanks so much. I too have been a functioning addiction for 20 years. Never been with out work or anything like that but I indulge daily.

that sounds like a great idea. I will try that. Thanks

I’ve done everything besides heroin and crack. I grew up in yhe rave scene so did a lot of drugs but for many years my doc has been keratin. Its not a physical addiction its strictly mental.

Ketamine its completely a mental addiction not physical

thabk you so much

Welcome Jazmin. I consider the people on this forum as my sober family. I couldn’t get the support I needed IRL but I know there’s always someone here day and night that I can turn to.

Yeah yeah I went to raves in the 90s through the early 2000s…ecstasy wasn’t my thing. I liked dust, speed, k, meth and acid
I used to.constantly mix drugs. The past 12 years has been only k . I had stopped using completely on my own for about 2 years. But relapsed
