I feel unable to really talk about the team in specific ways honestly to see the links but external issues like gm or coach shuffles, or being pressure cooked with the expectations that they will probably suck again from all sides affect their game, it is their game.
There are team organizing strategies that can also affect the balance of a team, like a too heavy D or heavy offence. If those are not great, then they will lose 6 to 1 for example, or not have grit players to make it to game 7.
Toronto has been shaped by instability all around. But, prove me wrong Toronto tonight, prove me wrong.

actually, Leafs have a record in game 7. 12 wins and 15 losses, including six consecutive Game 7 losses.

What kills me is all the foolish youngin’s outside of Scotiabank arena last celebrating and planning the parade . Don’t get me wrong as someone who has spent their whole life living on the outskirts of the GTA I’d LOVE to see them win a cup but I’m also realistic lol
