Yes but they also shut them out. I dunno. Yes - I agree there’s some strong offence in what they did in game 6 (they were textbook goals: five-hole and one-timer - very satisfying) - but I also think the play in the neutral and defensive zone was pretty good for the Leafs.
The other thing is, I don’t think it comes down to individual people here. Yes Matthews and Pacioretti are brilliant players, but so is Stolarz, but we’re getting brilliant play from Woll. I think there’s a larger team identity coming up here, or at least there was in game 6.
interesting, great points.
I’m feeling that too. I can open my heart to see where this goes.

it should not, but I think with the Leafs and specifically Matthews, it kind of does. He is their weapon, and this doesn’t take away other players, but there is a reliance. When he dominates, they win, he is the face of the franchise, power plays run through him, he has a high time on ice, he scores, a lot and he wins face offs in D zone.
Will the team flip the script on their own? I want this for them.
Why am I talking so much about the Leafs? WHY
Tell me you’re from a certain city without telling me you’re from a certain city ![]()
bein là, c’est pas normal de parler des Leafs autant que ça!
T’a raison mon amie - cependant, dans un tel temps, quand l’impossible semble réel, les règles deviennent… nuageux

What an amazing game!
Chippy, scrappy play; breakaways; brilliant goaltending on both sides - this is exciting hockey to watch.
Proud of my team. Walter Cup Finals - first game is May 20!
It can be streamed on YouTube everywhere except Canada. In Canada it can be streamed on CBC or TSN.
Are Leafs going to win game 7?
- yes they will! THEY WILL
- no

This… I love this.
No comment, no response from me, other than this made me laugh out loud for reals. ![]()
Sorry Leafs fans. Way this series has gone. Any momentum has been fleeting
Sorry, wasn’t meant for just Matt. Hit that by accident
Et maintenant, nous pouvons arrêter d’en parler

Tout comme Dwight et Pamela, on ne parlera plus jamais de cette période temporaire de soutien secret.

hilarant.
And let the conference finals begin!
We have the Oilers and the Stars in the west, and the Panthers and Hurricanes in the east. The Panthers and Hurricanes both play tight and that will be something to behold. The Oilers and Stars are both deep teams that are hungry to win the championship; they’ve both been close in recent years and are back looking for the Cup again.
Western conference coverage:
Eastern conference coverage:
The PWHL Finals begin tomorrow, May 20, 7:00 PM Eastern Time, with the defending champions Minnesota Frost facing off against the talented and hungry Ottawa Charge. I’ll be watching on TV with friends. In Canada, the PWHL playoffs are streaming exclusively on TSN.
Go Ottawa!
Emily Clark is my hero. Wow! Can she ever handle the puck. Every time she gets a chance she is up the ice like lightning. It is electric to watch.

And the Great Wall of Philips is carrying Ottawa in net. Holy smokes she shut everything down. Good goaltending on both sides in this series but it is Gwyneth Philips for the win in catching just everything that came at her.
On to game 2! Goooooo Ottawa!!!
