Hot teas instead of beers

I would like one of those now!! Lol

I absolutely enjoy a hot cup (32 oz mug) of green tea in the am with breakfast and reflection. I just feel better when I have it. I have never been into coffee in my adulthood and energy drinks aren’t for me either. I love Harney & Sons and a pear green to from Stash. I need to try to drink some hot tea in the evening since that was my time to unwind and drink.

I’ll have to try that out… Everyone on this thread keeps talking about it

You all drug me to the dark side lol. I went and got some green tea. It will be better than me drinking coffee all day.

The teas I’ve been sipping on most lately are peppermint, lavender chamomile, one called “sweet and spicy” (good earth brand). I also found CBD tea and have tried it twice. Both times I noticed my thoughts slow down - really enjoyed it.

And it tastes nice! :+1:
Just be careful, it can mass up with hormonal contraception and you shouldn’t spend long time in the sun.

Lol, tis the law!

I should have posted this here instead of creating a new post. Sorry!!!
Always looking for a new non-alcoholic drink that’s comforting and, in this case, good for you! I just brewed my first cup of cacao - the same stuff in cocoa only without the fat and sugar - and am pleasantly surprised. I used a French press - you can’t use coffee filters.
I can only drink so much coffee during the day and this has a nice, mellow, DELICIOUS feeling to it. Of course, I added half and half (so much for the no fat and sugar) but you don’t have to. I think I’ll up the amount and add cinnamon next time. I don’t work for the company or anything :upside_down_face: Here’s a link. You can find it on amazon: https://criobru.com/

When I first moved up north and picked another type of tea the LOOKs I got…

Yeah, I took st. John’s wart for a while and my skin got really sensitive to sunlight, but then again my skin is already pretty sensitive anyway.

This is great:laughing:! But I know what you mean… my 18 year old lad said last night at 9pm,”mum I really fancy some angel delight”. I hadn’t got any in so we jumped in the car and I drove us to the shop so he could pop in… :astonished: never could of done that before on any night, never mind a Friday lol.:rofl: hope you enjoyed the tea, I found it gorgeous just before shut eye :+1::pray:t2::two_hearts:

Literally just made a chai latte as I saw this thread.

The tea hit the spot!

I do the same thing. I like the Yogi tease because they have little insightful messages that come with each bag. My favorites right now are the Positive Energy blend and the Stress Relief kava blend.

Picked up some more Tension Tamer, this time I read the ingredients. It has catnip in it? I’ll feel how I feel about that later lol and also a bedtime caramel tea that I can’t wait to try!

I feel I should mention that the most delicious valerian root tea (for sleep and calming aid) I have ever tasted is Teepee Dreams. It’s made my a native American company. It has skullcap, valerian root, and catnip in it, among other things. Valerian root can often taste kind of awful, but this tea is amazing.

Today I start taking valerian root capsules about an hour before I’m ready to get into bed-which was about 20 minutes ago! Hopefully this helps
