How are you taking care of yourself today?

Happy to get back to this. Today I am putting some boxes/packages together to send to friends and that brings me joy. I will feed myself nutritious foods that taste lovely. I’ll work on tidying up so I feel less anxious and I will get a list started to get ready for my trip home this weekend :heartpulse: Add some deep breaths in there through the day.

Today I’m taking care of myself by setting boundaries and not beating myself up because of a rollercoaster of emotions. And I am on the sofa with one cat on my chest and a second behind my knees. This is wonderful, calming and I feel loved.

Day 162

I’m taking care of myself today by continuing to stick to basics. Water, Food , Music, Communication, Prayer

Here lately it’s trying to find a balance In everything I do. Knowing when I need alone time, but also knowing when I need to be around people. Hope everybody has a good day!

Started journaling this morning. Changing up my morning routine and that’s my new priority. Even before coffee!

One way I’ve been taking care of myself is by practicing face yoga moves every morning. Most of us have a morning and nighttime facial routine, and it’s super easy to add facial yoga to that. I’ve been doing some of Danielle Collins’ moves when I apply moisturizer, morning and night. It’s so easy that I can’t believe I haven’t been doing this for years! She has lots of YouTube videos, so finding moves that work for you is easy peasy. Here’s a link to her website…

I am taking care of myself by finding refreshing, restorative, summertime beverages that are not alcoholic or sugar loaded.

Hydrating properly is one of my goals.
I’ve landed on a lemonade electrolyte + caffeine drink mix with a dash of grape juice to make it a mocktail.
I call it a purple pucker😂

I’m taking care of myself today by staying home and out of the record heat/heat index rather than go to the first monthly summer night market downtown despite serious FOMO! I was supposed to volunteer too. But I’m not needed and my headache won’t get worse by me pushing beyond my ability today.

Took care of myself by spending quality time with my son we went disc golfing so got out in nature and got some exercise

Today I took care of myself by;

• not drinking! :face_with_monocle:
• cleaning my house (sounds weird, but to me it’s relaxing, and a moment of reflection)
• Relaxing bath including face mask :bathtub:

I took care of my self today by not using went to a meeting and I’m going to cook dinner for my family

Pulled my glass of the night stand it had a little pop in the bottom lol

Took myself to an NA meeting tonight and picked up a white keytag meaning my surrender to the program

Today I will look after myself by keeping out of my own thoughts when I feel them spiralling downwards.
I will also meditate and participate in this community more.
