I too am fighting a cold. I got myself the expensive orange juice to help and it was so nice. Now just in bed, reading and checking up on here. Hopefully we both feel better tomorrow
Enjoying a day off. Did some volunteer work for my church this morning, then came home for lunch. Went to my wife’s office to put together her new ergo desk for her. Back home now watching T.V. with Mom.
I took care of myself today by: (here comes my long list!)
• trying to stay out of drama at work
• refused to toast with booze at a work celebration
• went for a long walk after work
• took a bath after that
• listening to an audiobook to keep my mind busy
• snuggle with my cat on the couch, while he’s purring!
• bought a sobriety journal on Amazon, which I’ve started to write in daily, besides posting on her!
Thats really cool!!! I like all the questions and ways to track that are in there. I dont think its childish at all!! In fact it might be very beneficial to see patterns with ur emotions and whatnot in recovery. It will be amazing to look back at it down the road and see how far uv come
I am not stressing. Knee a bit of a problem. Can’t really get around to complete some chores. Decided to work on my mental TUDE! I am winning at that challenge.
