Served in bed in a nice English teacup is the most important part…
Yep, I am not a morning person and like to be spoiled a bit to get moving. New coffee fan, normally black tea, Earl Grey or Chai. With or without sugar with a splash of fat free milk is preferred. Stirred, not shaken.

Since I am in the coffee business (for now), I’ve used this time in lockdown to up my my game. I have been experimenting with different grinds and blends, making espresso in my mokka pot, and have been using my french press as a milk frother. Wife has been getting perfectly made lattes of late. Me? I like it black, Americano, with a fine layer of natural crema from the brew. Or, I’ll make a cold brew using my french press, in the fridge.

I should be reading and working out more. Putting way too much effort into making the perfect cup of coffee.

Coffee I prefer black and dark roast.
Oat milk is great!
I can’t handle almond milk yuk. They don’t even call it by its real name " nut juice" because no one would buy it.
Oat milk however is awesome!

Black typically, unless I go to Starbucks for something elaborate and sugary!

I use a medium roast from a local coffee company and add honey.
I sometimes like adding spices to my coffee too - my favorite blend is cinnamon, hazelnut and vanilla.

When I go to a coffee shop though, I just switch the coffee for an Americano.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it in particular but @Heather193 mentioned spices, and my GOODNESS if yall haven’t gotten on the cardamom in coffee train you gotta get on it.

It’s super typical of Turkish coffees, but I’ll throw some cardamom powder into my French press and it works wonders to make some boring old beans more interesting.

In my mouth.

Non flippant answer is that I will generally take it black, but on occasion I’ll add full fat heavy cream. Thing is that I’m a coffee sob. I prefer the nutty taste of a light roast from a local roaster who uses an air roasting drum. I also have a weakness for high quality flavored beans.

If you haven’t had blueberry coffee, you haven’t lived.
