Coming up on 8 days in 4 hours. This is the longest I’ve been sober in over a year. I’m very proud of myself!

Today 36 years ago today was Day 1 of my Clean and Sober journey. No cell phones, apps, emails or internet. AA meeting were held in room. It was showing up and putting in the work one day at a time. No slips or relapses. On active duty in the US Navy 20+ years stateside, underway or overseas in rooms or alone. Thank you to all who supported me then and to those who still support me today.
