735 for me. Went “cold turkey” from alcohol in 2022. Haven’t looked back. Been quite a few times I’ve thought “A beer would really be nice,” but I don’t want to start back at Day 1 again.
Welcome to the community and a hell of a job on 2+ years of sobriety!
This is a wonderful supportive community to be a part of - hope to see you around!
Thank you. I also put my story out here as well if you want to read it. One day at a time.
So far I’m on my second day.
I can’t sleep still. A lot of my mind and still not 100%
2 weeks today. feeling good, made it through the weekend no trouble. feel like next weekend will be harder. seems like the longer i go sober, the more i forget why i want/need to be in the first place.
I think posting on here at least once a day helps, it keeps me accountable and helps me maintain focus!
Great work on day 2 Michelle
Keep at it the sleep and mental clarity get better as you stack on the days
Woot woot
Awesome sauce on your 2 week milestone
U do know what you mean about forgetting the horrors we left behind as we gain sobriety. I keep a list with me of why I started this journey and why I want to stay sober.
I do find it comforting to check in daily as well. Keep up the amazing work…we are right here with you
That’s called staying in the middle and the best approach for success. If we rest on our laurels we often drift to the edge where it’s easy to fall off. Great work on you!
1,603 days.
567 days no booze
Liking that number
2248 days sober, but today, today is the day that matters. Thank you all for keeping me sober.
2/19/22 - Today and only today I am 1500 days sober. Life is truly better without alcohol. Celebrate all the milestones along the way no matter how small they seem now, I wouldn’t be here without picking up every single one of them one day at a time. Congrats everyone for one more day sober.
1,605 days.
