Im 1 year 5 months and 16 days sober from opiates and after a recent 8 month period where my drinking got out of hand i am now 10 days sober from that as well!! I was so worried about withdrawal but apparently my body was like “we got you”. I al grateful for that and how good i feel. Now i can focus on losing the weight i gained from drinking so much and focus on healing. In therapy and seeing a dr. Next week to get a physical and all the tests done that ive not gotten recently to make sure i take care of myself the way I deserve to be taken care.

It just occurred to me I haven’t checked my app and when I did I realized it’s been 49 days since my last drink. Wow…I’m pleasantly surprised. I’ve been focused on my prayer life and living well. I think I’ll continue with that. I hope everyone is doing well
