Alcoholic for 14 years
Twenty six with eleven years of active addiction. Just shy of four months 
40, been drinking since 15, but I now have a year and a month of sobriety under my belt and I’m lovin life!

To the op I’m currently 39, 40 in November . More of that time has been spent under the influence of narcotics than not under their horrific spell sadly.
