Yes I do have some much needed fun tasks to do… I have potting of Lavender seedlings to do and rehome some Herbs. I canceled my gym class tonight and am going to get my hands dirty…
I have a dog and just got done with a run for her. Me on quad and Yunna with Frisbee in mouth along side of me. She is a joy to be around and she loves it here in the sun.

Sounds awesome. I want to get to a point where I start growing my own herbs and stuff for holistic remedies. I’m glad the dog run suited you as well. All in all sounds like the makings of a good rest of the day. I think you’ve officially turned it around.

What’s the secret to growing lavender? I’ve killed more plants than I’d like to admit over the past few years. Ive been trying to get it to grow by my pond. It does ok, then doesn’t come back in the spring. I was thinking of starting it in a pot in the house this spring and then moving outside when it warms up. That way i can move in and out depending on season. Do you think that would work?
Most varieties are drought hardy and don’t need much water. Pond area may be a bit wet. Love direct sun light. We bought six plants and starting clippings have been easy in water even this late in the year. Mine definitely need to get planted. Will have many plants from those original 6 soon.
Might be a sunlight issue, too. It’s pretty shady around my place. I think if i plant in pots, I’ll have more control, can move them into sunny spots

Funeral for hubby’s mom is Friday. Hubby’s daughter and grandkids are here. I have mentioned in other post that they have religious dietary restrictions and just plain finicky and really pain in the ass guests. When I heard they are staying with other daughter in town for visit I was extremely relieved. Hubby picked daughter and kids up at airport today at 1pm. Daughter whom they are staying with says she won’t be available until after 8pm tonight. My house is where they are. Offered snack of banana nut bread but they “don’t do baked goods “ . So for dinner I had planned homemade spaghetti sauce with noodles. Hubby says that would be ok but prefer a 2nd meal too of my fabulous stir frys. I said FUCK rather loudly just to my husband. Normally that would have been a major conflict starter. He looked at me and said “it is what it is”. So I am headed into store for the ingredients for my fabulous stir fry. Just a little bitchin… children cannot or will not learn any responsibility unless you teach them. I did not have children so please do not say I don’t know what I am talking about. Unless you call out poor behavior that continues consistently it will continue to occur. Maybe I should post this over with the tough love topic. I am sorry @Englishd is on vacation I could use him just now.
I do love to cook now worried vegetables I will be using won’t be accepted. They can pick them out and just eat the meat. I really don’t care.

Just got home to find out they don’t do “stir fry”.
Now they are spending the night with us as other daughter a NO SHOW! Oh God help me. I will overcome and persevere.
