It's getting HOT in here - the Hot Sauce thread đŸ”„

This picture was taken at Jungle Jim’s in Cincinnati, allegedly America’s largest ‘world’ supermarket. According to an employee, the ‘adult’ orientation of the sauces locked behind glass refers to customers enjoying hot sauces other than consumed orally

Anyone in Germany who loves heat, go to The Bird burger place in Berlin. They have a beautiful collection of hot sauces that they lovingly will share. Some homemade and bespoke ones

Their napalm wings almost ended me
 I’m really not joking :no_entry_sign:.

Personally, and despite not being a massive Sheeran fan, this isn’t bad

And these jams are my absolute favourite - all purpose -go-tos. They add a massive punch of heat (they are super concentrated) and also sweetness in stew and chillis and Thai dishes. Great when you want to balance sour and bitterness.

Just got into spicy jams myself
those jams sound delicious :yum:
Ive just gotten a habanero one and it really doesn’t provide any kick so was disappointed. Looking forward to trying others

My daughter has eddy’s hotsauce on her xmas wishlist.

But slight derailment here: they do the toffee apple cider in 0%??? :exploding_head:
I didn’t know
I usually stay clear, even of the 0% stuff, but I need to know now: Is it nice? Where can I get it?

They company that cannot be named
 Lol
Got it from Amazon. We have had them almost a year as we got them last Christmas :rofl: Very very sweet. I actually warmed them on the hob for fake GlĂŒhwein (spelling sucks sorry). That was ok and the fizz disappeared thank god. They are nice, but SWEET! I’m not into sweet stuff really.

Not a sauce but a pickle that can be added to anything. I use it to spice up a curry but goes well with cheese and crackers or in a sandwich or as a side with some meat! It comanands some respect,

as this is HOT :fire: burns going in and out lol

Thanks, I do have quite a sweet tooth, so maybe the toffee apple gets a try one day.

But anything that’s too close to the real cider I steer clear off. It’s a slippery slope. One week it’s 0.5% and the next 5.0%.

Let’s get back to the hot sauces.

Yup. I don’t drink many AF these days either. I’m into nice cordials and fizzy water. Currently on a spiced red berry and plum squash that’s very nice. A lot of alcohol drinks and na drinks taste like soft drink/soda/pop anyway so why spend money on more than what comes out the tap!

Over to the hot stuff
I can’t for the life of me find a hot sauce that I have craved and dreamed of since having it about five years ago in Cornwall. It was a cute bottle, with nice imagery of fish on it I think. It was fruity and delicious. Maybe local to Cornwall/Devon. I’ve been searching for it for two days now
Maybe they disbanded. It was so good, like pineapple and ghost chilli style citric and fruity mad heat. Really nice with seafood. I’m not going to be able to let this go until I find it!! :exploding_head::exploding_head::exploding_head::exploding_head:

Not the one you described, but most definitely from Cornwall:

Original Rick Stein hot sauce from his shop in Padstow, bought during my summer holidays. I just had it with my toast, avocado and egg :yum:
