Merry Christmas 
I went to the English speaking noon meeting in the Hague and yes it felt like home, a room full of strangers but we are ALL connected and I would have never in my weirdest dreams dreamt that I one day, on 24th December sit in a foreign country in an AA meeting. I got my 2 months chip. And I made Christmas eve sober and have happy kids with their presents around me and absolutely no desire to drink today. To all of you my lovely people a peaceful and beautiful Christmas eve. Love you lots

Day 64 today, I had wonderful relaxed Christmas with the family, I hope everyone of you had a good sober peaceful Christmas and managed to stay sober! Tonight I went to another English speaking meeting in the Hague. It’s wonderful that there are so many English meetings, very friendly AA fellows but not as nice as on Tuesday. But I can ALWAYS take at least one good thing out of a meeting. Night night my friends

Day 73, happy sober Sunday to all of you fine people!!!
Back from the Hague. It is a beautiful city but for 10 days I haven’t seen the sun!!! Incredible. I live in a much colder place but at least we have a lot of sunny days! The meetings there were nice and I’m so grateful I’ve made the holidays sober! Glad to be back home

Good morning everyone, checking in on day 80. All is good here. Back to reality last week again, school for the kids, work for me. And back to my meetings in my town. It feels good to see all familiar AA faces and tell them I’ve made the holidays sober. I can’t believe it when I think about it. AA is saving my life, I love the program and the people. Next week I will meet my sponsor to continue my step work. Happy sober Sunday to all of you

Checking into day 87. Soberwise I’m strong, doing my meetings, meeting up with my sponsor and continuing my stepwork. But I’m so tired lately, since 2 weeks now. Constantly without energy. So so damn tired and that annoys the shit out of me. A lot of life problems that I’m handling for the first time sober. One really really big problem in my life is that we bought a place 2 years ago that I’m just not happy with. I sat down the other day and talked with my husband. In my drinking days I would have gotten drunk and would have blamed him on my shitty life in our place but this time we sat down and I explained him how unhappy I am here and that I want to sell this place and move back to my home place. I expected him to say you are insane. But he said if I’m really that unhappy here we can sell it but only next year (so we don’t pay taxes to the state, after 3 years we don’t have to) and that’s totally fine, I just want to be sure I am not stuck here for life… So we actually had an adult respectful discussion without yelling or insulting each other… I’m glad I’m sober I just want this tiredness to go away…have a wonderful Sunday you all

So sorry for the tiredness. The winter months could also be an attributing factor. Maybe look to see if you need more vitamin d or possibly a SAD lamp?
So very proud of you for having a healthy adult conversation and very happy to hear that you have a solution so you don’t feel stuck.

Thank you sober time and all you wonderful people. Today was like any other day. It is in fact just another day. I am so grateful to have found my way to AA and to have never given up and actually to stick to it now. Next week I will get my coin in my home group.
