Didn’t drink for almost a year then started again. I need to learn to deal with life instead of drinking to hide everything

Keep us updated on your progress please.
Hi From Scotland stick around and maybe try a meeting might help wish you well
What are meeting?
There are programs out there were you can attend meetings face to face like AA and Smart they can help you on your journey
Ok thanks not really a group person so I will probably stick to apps instead
Thats good keep us posted on your journey
Heyyy how are you today
No matter what I don’t pick up a drink (2years)
Staying accountable for my actions, knowing the outcome , motivation, taking advice, and not picking up no matter what all helped me along the way.
I’m ok had a couple of drinks last night but today is a new day
Not guiding you in one direction or another but I love in person AA meetings and I’m not even fully on board with AA. The zoom meetings do nothing for me, and apps are nice to kill time with like minded folk, but an in person meeting feels like therapy to me. There’s no pressure to speak. Can’t hurt to try one, if you want to. It took me 4 years to build the courage to go to a meeting and now I can’t stop.
Yes today is a new day
Why did you have a few drinks?
Do you plan on stopping?
In person meetings were the start of something very good for me. Extremely therapeutic
Stressful day and I ask my husband to get me some drinks. I’m trying to quit. I had almost a year of no drinking then started again
I looked at AA but its not for me
Well, I can only wish you the best. I can’t tell you what to do nor would I want to. It’s your journey, and however you go about it I wish you well.
If AA not for you are you going to try any other programs out there. what your doing doesnt seem to work , wish you well
