Hi Whitney!

Personally I have found virtual meetings helpful. If you search ā€œAA onlineā€, ā€œAA virtual meetingsā€, or similar terms, you will find some online meetings.

There are other lists of meeting groups here too:

For me getting active in my home group making the coffee or taking a 12 step to meetings visiting prisons and hospitals passing the message ,as for online meetings they will help but not keeping you active , exercise ,diet, our group go to a other meetings we pile in a car a pay a visit to another on way home we usually stop for fish and chips for me nothing beats a face to face meeting , wish you well

Welcome @uloveslimmm! I found that doing things with my wife and daughter helped a lot. I think we became a stronger family. Another thing that helps is to discover or rediscover a hobby. For me that was woodworking (although I still make better firewood than projects).

As for meetings, it wasnā€™t until this year that I started going more actively. I went before but only once a month at best. I go more frequently now but not always the same one. I like getting different perspectives.

Welcome Whitney! Ive tried getting clean numerous times. Meetings were always a huge help, life saving even. But this time around in recovery i wasnt able to attend in person meetings. So i joined NA and AA meetings online thru the free Intherooms app. They have a variety of meeting times to fit ur needs

I also do a variety of recovery related things such as daily recovery readings, coming on here often to read or check in, journalling, praying, doing a gratitude list, exercising, working on my vision board, etc. As long as its recovery related it helps me to stay focused on my path

Congratulations also on ur sober time! Great work!
