Kratom Use

Does anybody know if you can use Kratom to come off Methadone? I know you you can use it to come off other opiates just not sure about methadone. I am currently on 135mg Methadone liquid daily and would love to be clean of everything for once in my life. I honestly don’t want to stop taking Methadone Maintenance, get strung out on Fetty/Heroin again just to take Kratom. If you do know about Kratom what kind and brand should I purchase and how much should I take daily. I honestly know nothing about Kratom so any info about it would be greatly appreciated.

Even if kratom could touch withdrawals coming off 135 mg I wouldn’t give brands. For all intents and purposes kratom is just another drug. Tapering off under supervision of your provider is the smart choice.

I’d try an alternative I never tried Kratom but in most cases your just substituting one for another,

To me it’s like saying I quit using dope by going to benzos

Your best bet is to talk to your physician about a taper plan to get you off of methadone

Thanks for the advice man. Another expensive addiction is the last thing I need. I’m going to talk to my Doctor about Methadone taper. I’m fucking so tired of depending on something it seems like it will never end.
