it’s just a thing
Salt Lake City met someone in the bike community back a few years ago that’s all about pb, pickle, hot sauce sammies and he’s gotten a lot of people into em. I choose to put it in a tortilla instead and hot sauce of choice is my lady cholula but oh so many ways you can play and experiment with it.
I must be missing something! Maybe it’s the lack of bread ( l thought l’d try without bread first so as not to confuse my tastebuds)
I thought l should omit the hot sauce too-didn’t want to numb my tastebuds completely in case l couldn’t taste anything!
My honest opinion - l think l’m confused!
I love PB - smooth or crunchy! I can eat it by itself on bread or toast, with honey or maple syrup, even Nutella! Nice in a satay sauce.
Pickles equally! Sweet and sour, dill, salty. Small or big. On a sandwich with small goods, in a potato salad. I’ll even eat the pickle on my McDonalds Big Mac!
But…l’m just not sure about this combo?
They’re both so good on their own or with other foods, l’m not convinced that l should mix them! Is it an acquired taste maybe??
Just keep eating it until you decide you love it!
Jk most people seem to be really into it or very unsure about it. But also you talk about nutella which I very strongly dislike so our tastebuds are clearly at odds here.
