Lets name the 3 things we love about sober life

  • freedom (I didn’t think about it until a read it on this post and it makes so much sense…)
  • clarity, sometime even too much I get scared !
  • no more shame. The only shame left is actually from when I drank. Still working on that !

Not being hungover.
Dark episodes pass much quicker without cementing these feelings with guilt and shame.
Taking my responsibility for my life and having left the victim cycle (most of the time).

I’m 40 on day 24 and I have the motivation to play Ring fit adventure on the Nintendo Switch.
I have played it almost every morning and night after being in my cupboard for over a year.
This morning I had a cheeky flex im the mirror and noticed what looked to be the start of a 6pack (muscle 6pack)
I’m looking forward to getting back on there tonight.
Highly recomend

It’s day 1 of sobriety for me.

Tired about:

  1. How I’ve been blowing large amounts of cash on destroying myself and ending up miserable.
  2. How I’ve messed up relationships with important people in my life due to alcohol.
  3. The depression and havoc addiction has brought into my life.

I look forward to commenting 2 months later on the positive changes of sobriety. Super determined to see it through.
