Lights out challenge February 💤

I’m starting my own challenge
I got to get to bed earlier. I don’t know where it’s written. But I would think a good nights sleep is essential for recovery.
What time do you shut the screens down and turn off the lights?

For the rest of January I’m NOT going to change a thing. But record how ridiculously late I’m up with one kind of screen or another. February I’m going to work at getting the screens shut down and get a great nights sleep :zzz::zzz:
Can’t wait to get those sleep muscles in shape.
:pray:t2::heart::zzz:

I am definitely on tech way too late. I also want to make a change there. I usually go to bed between 10 and 11pm. Though, I think because I am on tech right until the very last minute, my sleep is adversely affected.

Seriously, when I shut my laptop, the dogs go into the crate for bed.

When I havecto work the next day, I am in bed by 8 pm. I dont have a time when I turn off the technology. 2 melatonin and I am out for the night

When I dont have to work the next day, I try to still go to bed at 8…unless I have something special going on.

oooohhhh nooooooo! I don’t bring my tech to bed. I do listen to sleep music/meditations on my phone. I do not have a TV in my room, nor does anyone else in this house. Bad! Naughty!

It helps that my partner has to get up stupid early so bedtime is 9, screens off is 8, when I’m being a good girl. And when I am it makes a whole world of difference for me, especially battling insomnia. Generally I think screens off an hour before closing eyes is recommended.

That’s going to be a challenge. Maybe March

Ms. Monkey plays Grumpy Old Men, every night…she cannot go to sleep without it. If we took the TV out of the room, the woman would never sleep.

Dude, you laid out the challenge. Don’t short-change yourself. Leave the tech in the living room.

The only way it works for me is in Gummy form. Pills, liquid, ect…never worked. The real benifit to it, from what I am told, is that I dont talk in my sleep as much.

Yes!! So in!! I stay up waaaay too late and I know that it’s not good for me but I do it anyways. And I am also bad for bringing my phone to bed with me. I have a white noise app I use to help me sleep… But of course I’m bad at scrolling social media and such right before bed too.

I’m a server, so my sleep schedule is already a mess with the late nights. But it doesn’t have to be that way on my days off!

I have only tried pill form and it gave me awful nightmares if I didn’t fall asleep quickly. Who knows, though. Thanks, maybe I’ll try another method.

We have been listening to music before bed and that has been nice but occasionally I get a song stuck in my head and that’s awful!
