Hello, I am looking for a sponsor for NA. I am hoping to attend a physical meeting today and get myself a sponsor but I figured this won’t hurt. I’m buying the NA step working book today.

It’s encouraging to see you putting in some effort, that is a good sign. Your best bet for a sponsor will be at a meeting, and face to face will likely give you a better chance to pick on their vibe.
The steps gave my life some order and a foundation to deal with my alcoholism. Once that was sorted, I can do the maintenance I need and also deal with any other problems of my own making.
