Day 9
William Shakespeare, Macbeth
Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder’s fork, and blind-worm’s sting,
Lizard’s leg, and owlet’s wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

Question: any suggestions for exercises I can do at home with a yoga mat, 5 lb dumbbells, and a 15 lb kettleball? I know, there are gyms everywhere. I can even access a state-of-the-art gym on campus for free. But I am way too self-conscious to work out in front of other people, and this equipment is what I have from previous attempts to shed weight. I also have a treadmill, but I’m preferring to walk in nature, and a mountain bike, but I need to lose at least 15 pounds because it has a weight limit. Oy. Any advice will be appreciated.
I personally love home workouts.
I used to download free workout apps that helped but am now more into YouTube workoute. You can search for whatever fits you best. Ie- gentle yoga, low intensity HIIT workout, shadow boxing, cardio, etc… also you can find workouts that fit your time schedule. You can find some for 10, 15, 30, min etc.
Have fun with it …
There’s a shit load of stuff you can do with dumbells, I don’t know about the kettle bell I’ve never trained with one.
I’ll see if I can dig out my dumbell work sheet and then work out a way to get it to you.

Rest day was day 7 so day 8 done?
@JazzyS shadow boxing sounds fun. Youtube here I come!
Thanks, Jim. This looks great.
Oh it’s an awesome workout…I no longer have any of my bags available due to space and still feel a burn and a good sweat with a shadow boxing session.
I use weighted hand gloves which helps intensity the workout.
Nate Bowers is my favorite guy to follow on YouTube
I’ve been scrolling around a bit, seems like a cool page!
Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll check that out.
I don’t have room for punching bags either unfortunately.
Played it by ear today. 15 squats, 20 push-ups, 60 biceps extensions. 3,200 steps (1.5 miles) on the treadmill.
Day 8 and 9 completed plus 1 1/2 hour pool exercise
Day 11 & 12 done! All up to date again!
11,220 steps/5.3 miles. Exercises and treadmill tomorrow. Rain and meetings forecast for Friday, so I might skip the day if the rain is too bad.
Days 9 and 10 done. Slow progress. I like that number of moves slowly increases. If it were bigger steps I might loose interest.
You are doing great Consistency is the key to success. No matter the timing. My opinion only to those master athletes …
Consistency is what I have lacked before with workouts. Started with too dense workout and quit before two weeks was up.
I am happy for finding this group challenge. We are doing this together but no one has to see me sweat.
I can’t motivate myself to the treadmill today, so I’m bumping up my off day. Some might say, but you’re off every day.
