Day 13 done!
Day 10 done. I’ll double up tomorrow (thanks, Norm!), that gives me a shot at getting back to square on Day 16.
Beautiful love sonnet, #27
Wm Shakespeare, Sonnet 27
Weary with toil, I haste me to my bed,
The dear repose for limbs with travel tired;
But then begins a journey in my head,
To work my mind, when body’s work’s expired:
For then my thoughts (from far where I abide)
Intend a zealous pilgrimage to thee,
And keep my drooping eyelids open wide,
Looking on darkness which the blind do see:
Save that my soul’s imaginary sight
Presents thy shadow to my sightless view,
Which, like a jewel hung in ghastly night,
Makes black night beauteous and her old face new.
Lo, thus, by day my limbs, by night my mind,
For thee, and for myself, no quiet find.
Not at all. You are moving and adding steps to your days which all counts.
The challenge thread is great to get motivated to move and get some great exercise too.
We also have a few other threads you may want to try out…
The Daily fitness check in is just to log any movement you do that can help you with your fitness health.
Think we have a weight lifting or gym one too.
I see you checking in daily and that is something
Day 10 done for me.
Thanks, @JazzyS . I appreciate the support.
All caught up. Somehow I completely spaced somehow and forgot to post here. Ugh. Add take the wheel I guess
Everyone is doing awesome as always 🩷
Why all the Billy Shakespeare quotes?
They didn’t even talk that way back then and there’s some quotes regarding his writing which boil down to 'what the fuck is he talking about or ‘I’ll have whatever he’s drinking or popping’.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s great that you’re embracing the Bard, I just can’t get on with him, possibly due to having ‘midsummers night dream’ forced down my throat by an English teacher who was a total wanker.

I had to read Macbeth back in school when I was living in NL. Didn’t understand half of it! despite having the Dutch version next to the original version.
Dan started posting those quotes some time ago (2-3 years already?) and it’s become a kind of tradition in the workout challenge thread!
Day 14 done + punch bag workout!!
12k steps today. That’ll do.
OK, as there’s a valid reason for posting shit, sorry I meant “it” autocorrwrong again🙄.

Day 11 and 12
@Lezourez and Tom Eliot think along the same lines.
T.S. Eliot
We can say of Shakespeare, that never has a man turned so little knowledge to such great account.
Days 11 and 12 done. I just realized I don’t have anymore back aches when waking up. Stronger core
Day 13 done and I could hold 60 second plank. Week ago I had to do it in two parts. I also went for 9 km walk today and enjoyed the beautiful sunny day.
Check out the progress . Keep up with your amazing efforts
5300 steps today, plus exercises. It’s all I could fit in with other obligations today.
Day 16 done!
You’re doing awesome! Unfortunately have to tap out this month. I’ll still be here to cheer you all on and do what I can without my foot 🩷:muscle:
Sorry to hear you are unable to continue but it’s important to listen to our bodies.
