May Cause Miracles (book)

I’m buying today, but have you guys read any reviews on this? The first 10 reviews are incredibly negative and people are saying the 5 star reviews are not real and probably paid for. I guess when the book came out on Jan. 1st, there were 5 star reviews of how the book changed their lives on Jan. 2nd or Jan. 3rd. A 40 day book and reviewers were already saying they finished it. I call BS.

Anyways, I don’t have her 1st and 2nd book, but a lot of people are saying, among other things, that the material is just taking from her other books. That I don’t care as much about since I don’t have anything else by her. There are other comments as well about the writing itself and the intended audience, but I’ll stop there.

Yay, book club! Lol

Either way…I already ordered the book

I’m totally down. I wasn’t pointing it out to change our book. I plan on purchasing and even if we dislike or disagree with certain areas we can talk about it here. No worries!

Week 1 day1-6 (yes, I read and worked ahead while I had the time)
Witnessing my fears: I realize how much I fear, looking into the future, and allowing myself to get trapped by fears of my own making.

Become willing: Letting go of old fears and thought patterns that don’t serve my greater good. Love instead of fear. I’m seeing them easier now like clouds passing by.

Choose a new perspective: Stretch beyond my limited beliefs and walk in faith rather than fear. My energy shifts when I set down my negative thought processes and create a different reality for myself. My fears are of my own making so I’m choosing to create different thoughts that don’t allow room for fear.

Gratitude is the attitude: Look what I do have (a roof over my head, a full belly, loved ones, a job) Raise my energy vibration by being kind to others and having a positive attitude. Difficulties are not punishment but spiritual growth opportunities. Acceptance of other’s and what’s happening around me takes away fear and stress.

Learning to forgive: Letting go of resentments and not allowing them to have control over me. Letting go of a fear based past that blocks me from Love. Releasing darkness and sadness to let the light in. Choosing loving responses instead of projected fear. Writing a letter to myself and apologizing for the self-inflicted harm I’ve done. I’m not the same person and I choose self-respect rather than shame.

Expect miracles: They occur naturally if we let them and are our birthright. I participate in the cocreation of miracles by little mindful shifts in my life.

Awesome…I like how it make you think and do exercises that become personal. You can tell by the way she’s writes that she’s in recovery. She has her own past.
