Body scan and present moment awareness. Lost half of it to contemplating an attachment that I am facing. Now for walking practice
My practice ot interrupted last night by technical difficulties so I just let it go. I will double up today.
I got my ten minutes in bed deep breathing before sleep. It wasn’t a good one. But I powered through it. It’s easier when I’m alone in bed.
Oh and slept through the night again.

body scan attempted however i think i need a distracted brain scan because i couldn’t focus at all oh well… Namastae
I here you Brian, it took me a few years to warm up to the body scan too. I visualize my breath travelling from the top of my head like a blow hole down through the specific body part and back. Three breaths for each body part and voila 1/2 hr focussing attention.
15 min loving kindness meditation before sleep.
10 minutes deep breathing before sleep and I stayed awake for it
5 min morning wake up meditation with light stretches
Felt I needed a little more so I did a 10 min foundations meditation from my Balance app which was focusing on awareness of taste and sight
Body scan and mantras morning awareness practice
I did a short Tonglen meditation as I watched the sunrise this morning. Focusing on my daughter as my " target" of healing energy and compassion. She has to go into the school today for some math support and always finds it so stressful.

Hey Caroline, you don’t know how much I loved ur post just now! Feeling pretty alone for some reason tonight. It’s just one of those days that need to end haha but I’m clean and sober still.
