Morning meditation complete
Did a 10 min fundamentals meditation on my Balance app. Kept noticing thoughts while trying to meditate. Have been trying to label the thoughts by saying “Thinking” and then refocusing on my breath. Didn’t seem to get much out of it. But I will try a diff meditation in abit
I use “in this moment,”. Doesn’t always work though.
20 min meditation before bed and nice little 10 min mindfulness practice this morning while I watched the sunrise.

Today I did a 15 min guided/unguided mediation. The Balance app I have is teaching me to slowly become more comfortable with silence. 15 min is the longest ive gone so far… but it went by pretty quick surprisingly.
We did a check in of body, mind, and emotions. Then we did focus breathing using sensations and then breathing in while saying “In… calm” and breathing out while saying “Out… smile”. It was interesting bcuz I immediately went to colors. So I started imagining breathing in blue, and breathing out yellow. Then at the end it was another check in with self. The whole experience made me feel super yellow and full of Joy! Sounds strange… I’ve never experienced color in a Meditation before. Hmmm.

Did a 23 min compassion mediation last night before bed. I am finding these very helpful to ease my feelings around the world these days. Releasing all of the energy that builds up and sending it in a positive way is a spiritual way to work “action” for me.

It normally costs a pretty penny but they had this thing on where u can get a year free. U did need put a debit Visa or credit card number in there cuz after the year they will bill u. But if u cancel before that date, it won’t my 1 year term ends in Oct 2022 lol

Not been committing to meditation practice but recognise it is something I need.
I intend to enroll (again!) for Tara Brach’s Mindfulness Daily course, it’s free and it lasts 40 days.
I might have been looking in the wrong place but couldn’t see it last time I looked for it. So not sure how long it will be available for.
Binaural beat meditation before bed that was absolute shit, I can’t even count it. Hahahah
